Marigold was the only red girl in the Jedda X Amber litter. She was a flashy, Irish marked, black-fringed red who finished her championship easily. She was never specialed and was shown only occasionally at Saluki Nationals. Mari was happiest at home and surrounded by people and spent the last 6 years of her life at the home of Ingrid Christensen.

Mari was a happy dog who's tail was almost always wagging. She spent most of her day on the loveseat that matched her in color, her "camo couch". She also rab the "toy transport system", carrying toys from the living room into a back bedroom. She was very efficient.

Mari was leased to Sue Ann Pietros (Monab) and Marilyn LaBrache Brown (Dadaelis) for a litter, which was co-bred by Sue Flynn. Three sons from that litter, Murphy, Neptune and Cairo, and a daughter, Zoe, are finished. Murphy also has an AKC Best in Field in lure coursing. Cairo has sired 3 litters and has a son and grandchildren in Europe. Zoe is the dam of one litter and Murphy has also sired a litter.

Mari died from hemangiosarcoma of the liver in March 2008.
